Sub: Heavy rains and gales – Damage to Company’s property: – Reg.

Your attention is drawn to the recent high speed winds and heavy rains that lashed the coal belt areas causing damages to our structures etc.

In this context C&MD desires that, “a survey to be undertaken for identifying the houses of officers and workmen where damage has been caused. A special drive must be undertaken to repair the buildings and quarters of officers and workers so that they are not inconvenienced during the coming months till the monsoon withdraws”.

An action taken report on the above matter is required to be put up for the information of Directors / C&MD. Necessary immediate action shall be taken to attend to the repairs to damaged structures on top priority.

It is advised to conduct a detailed survey and to send details together with the plan of action in consultation with area CGM’s / GM’s for our perusal and to apprise Directors / C&MD on priority latest by 16.08.2006.
