SCCL is procuring materials through
e-Procurement platform and about hundred tenders have been finalized using this
platform. SCCL
decided to procure items/materials through e-Procurement system only from the
financial year 2008-09 i.e., from April 2008 onwards.
For the benefit of those Vendors/Suppliers, who have not participated in
e-Procurement activity earlier, it is once again informed that the following
course of action/procedure is required to be completed in order to participate
in e-Procurement tenders hence forth.
2. Obtaining
Digital Certificate:

You should obtain digital certificate, to participate in the
tender for the purpose of authenticity and security as per IT Act 2000. The
procedure for obtaining Digital certificate is given in the web site https://tender.eprocurement.gov.in.
In the home page, on the right hand side click on the link ‘DIGITAL SIGNATURE’ or alternatively,

You can also visit www.apts.gov.in/pki_main.html web page for knowing the
details and procedures in obtaining ‘Digital Certificate’.

The process of obtain digital certificate has been
simplified and Vendors can obtain digital certificates at their own Places with Tata Consultancy Services. It is in your interest to obtain Digital
Certificates as early as possible. On specific request, SCCL will extend
necessary help in obtaining ‘Digital Certificate’ with out any financial
implications to SCCL.

3. Registering
in e-Procurement
portal:
Further,
you have to register with E-Procurement market place. For registering, go to
the web site https://tender.eprocurement.gov.in.
In the home page, on the right hand side, click on the link ‘REGISTER’. Follow
the instructions as appearing on the screens. On completion of the same, you
are registered in the portal.
