Mr. D.N.Prasad, a Graduate Mining Engineer from the University College of Engineering, Osmania University with University First rank, holder of First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency to manage coal mines and MBA from UK, has put in about 33 years of overall experience in the coal and Energy sectors of India. His experience includes eleven years of operation and management of coal mines in the Public Sector Coal Companies, Coal India Ltd. & Singareni Collieries Co. Ltd. and about 22 years in Development Policy Planning for Energy fuels Coal & Lignite and Project Appraisals in the planning Commission and Ministry of Coal, Government of India. He is presently continuing as Adviser (Projects) in the Ministry of Coal, Govt. of India.
